Now, you may ask, how does all of this look?
In most cases, a once per week 45 minute session is recommended. You will find that this is a frequent standard in most therapy and counseling services. Meeting once per week will allow us to effectively get to know one another, become familiar with your goals for therapy, all the while allowing ample time for between session reflection, allowing room for change and, well, LIFE!
However, this is not one-size-fits-all work. Recognizing this fact, we may make occasional adjustments to our meeting frequency or even the length of our sessions. This is a decision we make together; after all, this is your journey – your investment in yourself.
