As a past President of the Colorado Psychological Association (CPA), with experience as a representative to the American Psychological Association (APA) Council of Representatives, a former chair of the APA Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity, having previously worked as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Denver, a guest speaker, trainer and consultant on diversity concerns across the Denver metro area and beyond, Dr. Burgamy is uniquely qualified to work with individuals who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, transgender, gender diverse, and questioning. Born and raised in Colorado, Dr. Burgamy has an extensive understanding of our local community, concerns, politics, and challenges.
